PTWRC is dedicated to helping and caring for animals who have been subjected to the illegal wildlife trade. The animals that are saved by the Wildlife Rapid Rescue Team are relocated to our center and each individual is assessed for release based on their health and strength to survive independently. Animals deemed healthy and capable of life in the wild are immediately released into the forests protected by Wildlife Alliance and Forestry Administration. If release is not an option they are given a permanent home at PTWRC. Certain animals need guidance before they are able live safely in the forest on their own. These individuals are relocated to our Wildlife Rehabilitation Station (WRS). Here they are given the tools they need to successfully provide for themselves in the wild.
