Happy Update on the Angkor Wat Gibbon Family! As you may know Wildlife Alliance has secured a contract to repopulate pileated gibbons in the Siem Reap area. We have released two families to date, with a third family in an acclimation enclosure onsite getting used to the sites and sounds before their release. We are so very happy to report that the first family released has just had their second baby!! We are so excited for them and so happy that they are doing well. Along with the new addition we are happy to report that the second family also has one baby, and so do the couple in the acclimation enclosure! This is of course fantastic news and the team is so excited to see them adjusting so well to their new home. If you are in Siem Reap and hear gibbons calling they all came from the Phnom Tamao release program! We will let you know how we get on with the release of the third family happening soon!
