Did you know there are several options available to visit Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre? Over the next few Tuesday’s we’re going to let you know about all of the available options, as we get lots of questions about this!!

Wildlife Alliance runs a ‘Behind-the-Scenes’ fundraising tour at the centre, with 100% of profits going to our rescue, rehabilitation and release projects for wildlife affected by the illegal animal trafficking trade in Cambodia. This is a full day tour that runs from 8am – 5pm and includes transportation to and from the park, lunch and beverages, ticket entry, English-speaking guides, and access into the private areas we work at the centre to learn and interact with some of our animals! Highlights include feeding two friendly female elephants and watching the keepers use our positive-reinforcement, food-reward based training method to change the prosthetic foot of our youngest elephant, Chhouk, who lost his foot to a snare, entry into the tiger and leopard dens for safe but up-close viewing (all through protective barriers), and entry to our nursery to interact and feed a troupe of energetic baby monkeys!
