What an incredible event! The “Green Sprouts” Tree Fair was an absolute success. Kudos to the Ministry of Environment for organizing the Promotion and Sapling Distribution Exhibition and National Kesor Kol Forum. The theme of the exhibition “Green Sprout” and the “4th National Orchid Forum” drew so much attention. It was amazing to see the public’s enthusiasm for tree planting and environmental awareness.
Wildlife Alliance was honored to be a part of this important event and distribute some of the Endangered species such as Thnong (Pterocarpus Macrocarpus), Kra Nhoung (Dalbergia Cochinchinensis), Beng (Afzelia Xylocarpa), Neang Nuon (Dalbergia Oliveri), Kaki (Hopea Ferrea), Chheu Teal (Dipterocarpus alatus), and other species like Kaong Kang Phnom (Rhizophora Mucronate), Ta Trao (Fagraea fragrans), and Ko Koh (Sindora siamensis) to the local public during the three days exhibition.
Wildlife Alliance did an outstanding job by distributing 1,226 tree saplings to 295 people. Witnessing the community’s willingness to participate in reforestation efforts was simply amazing.
This event was a fantastic step towards combating climate change.
