On January 5, 2018 the Rangers from Global Park Deference System organized an ambush on Kam Road in Chi Phat. One motorbike was abandoned by his driver at the view of the anti-poaching team. The MoE found 7 turtles (4kg total) in a green bag.
The motorbike was confiscated as state property and the 7 turtles were released next day.
