March 07, 2018 – Trapeang Rung Patrol Station

The team stopped a car going from Koh Kong to Phnom Penh transporting 57 alive turtles (35kg). The trader cooperated with the Ministry of Environment officers and give them all the information about the provenance of the wildlife.

All 57 turtles were released in he river inside the Cardamom protected area. The wildlife trader received a fine of 4,000,000.00 Riels (1,000.00 US Dollars).
