Last night, two loggers were arrested for logging. The sound of the chainsaw was heard by a villager who called Steung Proat Patrol Station responsible for Chi Phat area. The loggers were caught red-handed cutting timber in a protected area. They were handcuffed and jailed.
The possession or use of chainsaws in a protected area is prohibited.
