Wildlife Alliance did a big bash to celebrate its 22 years in Cambodia. Founded in 1995, Wildlife Alliance has worked in countries around the world, including the Galapagos Marine Reserve, the Eastern Coast of India, the Siberian Far-Est, Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia.
Since 2000, Wildlife Alliance has managed ecosystem protection operations in Cambodia. Today we are celebrating the commitment of the Cambodian Government to reduce deforestation and achieve zero snaring, in its vast, magnificent forests. Thanks to the preservation of its forests– which serve as the water tower of the region — Cambodia has one of the largest freshwater reserves on the planet.
Wildlife Alliance is the development partner of the Royal Government of Cambodia through three main ministries, the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Royal Gendarmerie.
