Yesterday our Wildlife Rescue Rapid Team (WRRT) confisciated and fined a female seller in Stung Treng market for selling illegal wildlife meat including slow loris, water monitor lizard, turtle, and porcupine. She was fined 960,000 Riels or $240 usd by our Forestry Administration officer. The Cambodian forestry law stipulates that it is illegal to sell,possess and hunt wildlife.
