For nearly 10 years, Wildlife Alliance has been a leader in eco-tourism that benefits local communities, the environment, and tourists. In the Cambodian village of Chi Phat, Wildlife Alliance created the Community-Based Ecotourism (CBET) project in order to help villagers earn a sustainable income while protecting the surrounding ecosystem. Today, 80% of Chi Phat’s CBET members who previously survived by means of poaching have now stopped as a direct result of employment opportunities presented by the project and over 200 families are empowered with sustainable livelihoods and increased income. The Chi Phat CBET project has received multiple awards for their accomplishments in improving living conditions of local people and communities, while contributing to the protection of the natural environment. Make a gift towards sustainable ecotourism or better yet, visit Chi Phat!

Wildlife Alliance also has single day and two day experiences in which travelers can tour Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center (PTWRC) and the Wildlife Release Station (WRS). These tours give tourists the once in a lifetime opportunity to interact with rescued wildlife, gain insight into conservation efforts in Cambodia, and hear first hand stories from our wildlife experts. Visitors have given the tours rave reviews on our Trip Advisor page, calling it an “amazing day up close with wildlife - learning and contributing to an important cause” and the “highlight of our Cambodia trip.”  The revenue generated from these tours goes directly towards rehabilitating rescued wildlife and helping prepare animals for their release back into the wild. Book a Wildlife Tour at PTWRC or a Wildlife Release Station Tour today!

Wildlife Alliance is pleased to introduce our newest eco-tourism experience - Be a Ranger for a Day. This program allows visitors to experience for themselves what it is like to be on the front line battling wildlife crime.  Wildlife Alliance has rangers on the ground every day rescuing wildlife and stopping wildlife crime. This will be an incredibly rewarding experience for tourists because they will be able to make an immediate contribution to conservation efforts in Cambodia. 100% of the profits from the Be A Ranger tours will go back to the ranger program, providing the rangers with a sustainable income and the proper gear to allow them to continue patrolling the forest and protecting wildlife every day.
